Totally adorable, friendly, well mannered and confident pony. I bought her as an un handled 2year old, I’ve done lots of ground work with Birdy getting her used to life, walking around the countryside meeting cars, trucks, bikes, people, dogs etc. We do pole work, jump little jumps, lunge, and load in the lorry etc and Birdy has taken it all in her stride. I’ve lightly backed Birdy and we have been for hacks and pottered around the school and paddock in walk, just in a head collar. I have not bitted Birdy yet, she is having wolf teeth out this week, then we can try a bit. So far Birdy had been a joy to do, very easy and willing, I think she will be a forward going type. Still needs lots of education. Is living out in a mixed herd and is barefoot. Up to date with worming, vaccinations teeth, farrier etc.
